Christine: I kinda did that for a few months, but I got so bored and he was so fed up with me wanting so much attention once he got home. He was exhausted, I had waited all day for him to come home.

  1. shopping and telephoning the girlfriends.

  2. I'm male but my lady works.  I spend all day trying to find ways not to be a bum.  Cleaning, cooking, laundry.  Always watch Ellen in the morning.  Usually come answer some questions and get some exercise.  Right now I'm worthless though because I'm sick.

  3. Before I had my baby, I would clean and watch TV or go shopping. The first three months that I was married I wasn't pregnant and I spent my time decorating my house. After that, I was pregnant and I was tired all the time in the 1st trimester, but after that I would clean and organize, go on walks, go shopping, hang out with friends, sew, draw, cook, go to garage sales, watch TV and much more, but I can't really remember. There's always something to do.

  4. You waited all day?

I love my husband but he's not the only person in my life, thoughts, responsibilities etc.   Are you noting that when you brush your teeth you are waiting for instance?  When I brush my teeth I'm thinking about getting my teeth clean, therefore just brushing my teeth and that is all.

  5. They keep the house tidy and clean.  Make it a beautiful place to live.  If one want a great life living in such a house, one can hire somebody to do that, to keep a well maintained house on a turn key basis, every day.  It will cost a lot.

  6. If I didn't have any kids I'd spend even more time reading and on the computer than I do already, i wouldn't have any problem keeping myself amused.  I always regarded work as an annoying interruption to the things I really wanted to do.  I don't really understand people who like work.  it always seems such a waste of time to me.

  7. I used to be one..(now I've got 2 kids), anyhow I used to do alot of cleaning, more involved recipes when cooking, reading, shopping :), meeting my husband for lunch...it was a fun time!

Well I also considered volunteering.  That's something that could get you out of a boredoom rut (in addition to doing some good).

Something else I did, was to go around to different places (ie museums, etc..) and explore.  In my instance we moved from San Francisco, to Salt Lake City where the cost of living was WAY CHEAPER.  So, I didn't need to work and I didn't know my surrondings very well.  I liked to drive around sometimes and check out new places (although chances are you're not in the same situation I'm sure).  Anyhow, we're back in SF, and I'm not working outside of the home, but like I've said I've got 2 kids to look after now who keep my busy.

Oh something else..lol...you could always take a class like at a community college or something?  When we moved back to Ca. I still didn't have any children, so I went to graduate school.  Kept me busy!!!!!

    Good Luck Lioness :)

  8. I'm a stay at home mom but my son's father keeps him every other weekend (I'm married to another man, not his father)and I'm extremely bored whenever Darian is gone. I usually try to keep myself occupied by shopping (on the occasion when we have extra money), answering questions on here, exercising, and cleaning. Even with all that, I'm still bored. Something about having an empty house just sucks! Of course, when my husband comes home I'm usually not as bored. I can't imagine just being a housewife without children, I'd go insane.
