If this was 4 black guys who had beat up a white guy would this be a hate crime? Or if it was reversed and it was 4 latinos who beat and killed a while male would it be a hate crime?

I have no problem at all w/ charging these guys w/ a hate crime AS LONG AS we'd do the same in reverse......which i highly highly highly doubt if this was blacks on 1 white man.

  1. A minority race can not, legally, have racism to non minority race.  That is the law.

  2. I think it would be a hate crime either way around.  The problem arises when you have to prove it to a jury.  Racism has been directed at minorities for so many years, its gonna be hard to not think that every white -vs- minority fight is not racially motivated.  This was a hate crime, but i always thought all fights derived from some sort of hate.
