If so what do they do with them? Surely elves have two feet? Would the socks be too big for them? Do they use them as a sleeping bag?

  1. lol. I hope not, that would be terrible. Maybe they do a little work on them to make them fit better?

  2. Sleeping bags...I swear all my socks now are done to one sock per pair. There must be a whole colony of elves in my house.

  3. No, actually they are in the dryer.

  4. What you smokin?? Little elves in your washing machines.  When I start seein little elves then I know I have the good S**t.

  5. No, it's the " The Eater Of Socks " as described in Terry Pratchett's " The Hogfather ".

  6. No, usually they disappear in the DRYER.  I never lost socks when I was a kid and my mom hung them out to dry.  Only since I've used DRYERS have I lost socks.  There's a theory that the heat level and those holes in the dryer drum cause the socks to transfer to another universe where socks are alive, work, eat, sleep, copulate, and have baby socks.  But only ONE of a pair can ever go there.  The other one has to stay in THIS universe.
