Do we have to make reservation to BBQ at Golden gate park San Francisco?

either the west or east side. I have seen many BBQ pits there but I want to know if its first come or by reservation only.

It's by reservation. There is a nominal fee, and you should still plan to get there early to defend your reservation from squatters.  Also, be prepared that many of those BBQ's are very old and the grates are dirty and badly rusted out - many people bring their own hibachis to put inside the BBQ pit.
