Do we in the United States get as much bang for our buck as other countries who pay high taxes?

i do o.k. on our "poverty" level income.  so my answer is yes.

It really depends on your lifestyle, but now it seems like we don't with the euro worth 1.57 $. It also really depends on the country. Generally, yes though.
