Do we just wear regular socks with the ballet uniform?

I remember seeing some of the guys in class wearing socks, i just didnt get up close to look as to see what they are

If anything, they would have been leg warmers.  Guys wear tights, just like the girls.

When this one was dancing professionally, he did not know there was a "uniform".....

This one did wear tights with socks (usually white, thck and very warm) along with leg warmers, ballet slippers and a tank top.

Under the tights there was often a layer of "Icy/Hot" or "Bengay".
