That's the trouble, they go to where the food is. There are plenty of dustbins with no lids and black plastic sacks. Their beaks make short work of these and the ret of the garbage is spilled all over the street. Oh and don't go in your back garden when one of their young falls off your roof. You will be subjected to a horrific ttack, by the time you reach the clothes line.

Bless 'em.

  1. Where i live the numbers of seagulls is out of control.  They make such a horrific mess of the place and they can be such horrible creatures even attacking people for food.

I think their numbers should be dealt with and as hummanely as possible, even if this has to be getting 'rid' of their eggs.

I am a very animal friendly person, but these seagulls are no longer seagulls - they are a giant, agressive version!

It is our own fault that overfishing and our wastefulness and disrespect for our world has caused these birds to come further inland and become scavangers but the problem is going to continue to get out of hand.

  2. LMAO! We have PLENTY of gulls over here too especially in Florida where most of the state is coastline. You can find them in parking lots of supermarkets and thousands upon thousands in landfills. If you drop something out of your shopping bag, best just to let it go than to get mobbed by a bunch of sharp beaks. We have Grackles too which are just as vicious, Florida would be a good place to film "The Birds 2" XD

  3. No, when their food supply declines they will too.

  4. Didn't they try that b4,won't work

  5. a common method is to spray oil on the eggs

towns like St Ives may have tried this, but also tried hawks http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cornw...

    I don't know the result
