I read somewhere that it's needed right now even for domestic flights. Is that true? Thanks =)

  1. You dont need a passport unless youre leaving the country i.e the united states

  2. Where do you live?

In the UK photographic ID is required for all internal flights.  This can be a passport but also driving license.  Some other options (army ID, I think) are allowed, but all very official.

  3. You don't need a passport as long as you're not leaving the country (US), so long as you have some other form of photo identification for flying.

  4. If you are in the USA, you do not need a passport for domestic travel.  If you are flying, adults will just need a government issued photo ID - passport OR driver's license OR state ID.  If you are going on a boat that leaves the country's waters, then you will need a passport.

  5. No only for overseas travel. For domestic travel a State Government issued ID is all that is required. If yours has expired you can renew it . A passport will work as an ID.

  6. not that i know of.  it's good for identification but i am almost certain that you will be fine without for domestic travel within the continental US.  not sure about alaska, hawaii, or territories...PR.

check on the department of state website for specifics.

    :)
