  1. there not going to ask you for one when you go over there, theres no boder like there is to go to the states. but when you come back your going to need a passport and if you dont have that then you need to have a photo id and a birth certificate. when you go over there, i recomend you go to el Mercado ***** to eat some good fish tacos and walk around, its not fancy but its good.

  2. not yet but for sure have a goverment id and birth certificate.

  3. ...from where?

  4. You only need a pass port when you travel by air.  If driving, your DL and Birth Certificate  is sufficient to come back into the US. You only need a mexican tourist visa that costs $20 at the border  and car permit that costs $35 if you ever travel past Sonora.   I always have my tourist visa just in case the authorities ever want to hassle me, they will look for any excuse to rip you off.  The drive to Ensenada is really nice since you use the toll roads, just make sure you have a little cash on you.

  5. No, you do not.  You do need a photo I.D. and a proof of citizenship...EITHER a passport OR a birth certificate. After summer 2009, passports WIll be needed for LAND  travel too.See site belowfor current , correct info.
