  1. Yes, you need a visa for Turkey.

If you don't get one, you can simply buy one at the airport upon entry. The price depends upon your country of origin. For example, a person with a US passport can expect to pay $17 for an entry visa.

  3. I think he should get a visa to be on the safe side. Two years ago, a travel agent told my dad that he doesn't need a visa, but on the airport he had some problems, and he had to pay extra 50$ to get a visa. So, I really think your husband should get one.

  4. The entry visa to Turkey when travelling from Britain is a CLEAN £10 note payable at passport control at the arrival airport (they will not accept dirty notes or 2x£5 notes). This buys you the visa "stamp" in your passport. I would assume it is the same for other nations as I have seen the German/French/Dutch with Euros in their hands when going through passport control. Ask your local travel agent, they should know or find out for you.

  5. Yes, you will need a visa for entering turkey. The visa exception is only for official passport holders, like politicians or diplomats.

Fiji does not belong to the 51 countries, who can apply for a visa at the Turkish border and just pay $20.

You have to apply for it at the Turkish Ambassy at New Zealand, which is also responsible for Fiji.
