Do we need income tax?

the government takes your money that you've worked for and they use it how ever they choose to, and we not diong anything about it, think its time for revolution, you people are too soft. did you know that you pay tax on evrything i.e food,property,cars,clothes,petrol and the fcuking Income Tax the money that i've worked for. i've had enough and i need people who are ready to make a change, people with no fear, people who believe what is right

Yes we need an income tax, this is how we pay for all the services that the country requires. Without Tax there would be no hospitals, schools, protective services, roads, public housing, and all the other services we require to be a decent society.

VAT is only changed on food that is made and consumed hot on the premises of the supplier. I've no idea of how you would tax a pet.

You may want to look at the current situation in countries without income tax; it's not great. You should also do a little reading about revolutions as these invariably end in the gulag and with a tyrant in command.

have you just figured out we pay tax on everything?? and it wont ever chancge as it will destroy our economy!

I think you're talking to the wrong people. Tell HMRC you're not going to pay your taxes any more. That should make for an interesting discussion.  ;-)

I do not want income tax.Unfortunately Govt wants it to meet its expenditure.In many Arab countries there is no income tax.
