Do we need knee pad when perfoming breakdance or locking?

i am a bollywood dance instructer. thease days i am trying to do some moves related to locking and breakdance. in some moves my knee get hurt.do i need knee pad. do everybody wear that who perform locking and breakdance

Some wear them, and others don't. I would say you should wear them because i would and will too. But some people have stronger knee's than others, and some just get used to it. Me on the other hand, i have pretty weak knee's so ...
