Do we qualify for low rent, Section 8 or HUD?(10 pts best answer)?

My two friends and are looking for a place to stay together upon graduating in a few months from high school to further our education to a local college. However, we will all be 18 yrs old and the only income we will have is from me and my friend's part time job. Me and my friends make around $150-$250 maybe a little less on our jobs. My third friend will be finding a job too help us.

But my question is....Do you think we will qualify for low rent, Section 8 or HUD? Thanks!

I am not sure you would quality because you are not a related family unit.  Regardless, you might want to check out the link below with regard to poverty guidelines....

No, you will not as a unit, because you are not related. You can each apply individually, but then you will not be able to live with each other- under section 8 rules. But you can/may qualify for low-income housing, where you will still pay a rent- based on all of your monthly incomes. I would suggest you find full-time jobs or just live with your parents until you are financially stable!!
