Do we really need a fighter?

Do we need a fighter or a dilomat in the White House? Clinton says she is ready to fight for America - she has been in fighting in Washington for 15 years. She has been fighting to get her health bill passed with no success. That is what is wrong with our political circus; they fight each other and accomplish nothing!! Do we need to send a fighter to the White House or do we need to send someone who is ready to clean up the mess three previous presidents has left behind? Fighters belong in the alleys not in the White House!

While I am against most forms of Socialism I believe Heinlein had it right.  Only citizens should be politicians and only those who have served should be citizens.  So yes, a person who has served this country in uniform far exceeds any other choice for president of the United States.

Correct - the biggest problem we have had in getting anything out of Washington is the constant fighting between parties and within parties. They seem to be far better at fighting with each other than in solving problems. If they would spend half the time working out solutions America would be better off today. Hillary has been a part of that mess and it shows in her attitude; we need someone who can build a functional and productive government; not a whimp or someone who feels the only way of getting results is by force or fighting but honest management of resources. Hillary has shown she is not the person and she openly admits she is ready to "fight". Arguing and fighting has not got us anywhere.

Seems to me the biggest mess was left by the last non-fighter in the White House, Jimmy Carter.

Woe to us should an updated version of Jimmy get in there.  I'll take a fighter every time.
