duh they help they give us the convenience of finding stores imagine walking a zillion miles for a Nordstrom when it can b a few blocks away.

All the creepy emo kids and gang banger wannabe's now have a place to hang out with the preps and jocks, ;) I haven't been to a mall in probably two years, last time was for a gift for my father. I can't stand malls i may have been to one four times in my life total. I think they're hurting us, but so are video games and excessive use of tv and computer.

Do we need no do we want yes . . . i do know about globe warming and i do believe in it but as the earth decrease the economy only increases,  i think its finding the balance of the 2 because what do you want the economy to do stop progressing? there a article in there about the ps3 and how it helps cancer research so what i'm saying the economy can't stand still for the world but can only balance it out and if you said that video games shouldn't be made anymore because they hinder young teen age mind will sony could of just invent something that can help researcher save million of teenager and children lives and if it wasn't for sony to invite who know who would have? and the WII it helps kid exercise you can actually break a sweat from that game also cars i know is a big issue Honda has made a hydrogen fuel car but is only being released in southern cali because there are no hydrogen fuel places all i'm saying is you can't tell the world to stop progressing bc then the world would go no where and every time the world progress the world can get a little better by changing the way we live but we can only change if we progress like the new saving light bulbs or how that sun chip company is run by solar panels. Also i don't think you can point the blame on anyone and i dont know why you would like to because everyone is responsible and beside you never know what new invention will help save the earth or million of kids lives and i think shopping malls are good just in the fact that its some where kids can hang out i hate the prices in the mall but what can you do its some where people can socialize some people like it some people don't but its better then having your kid sit at home all day or have all the kids crowded around walmart i mean come on can you imagine that? walmart only so big or have them playing in parking lots bc where else would they go to the park? with all the kids its a good place to have around wither you choose to believe it or not! and if you don't think so give me a good reason? bc its over crowed and the prices are not good reason bc thats a personal issue more then a real issue!

No they are not.  We are cutting down more and more trees building these shopping malls that are almost always deserted anyway and then they build more right next to it. For us being in a recession we sure do have alot of money for this.
