For Indian Citizens :

Indian citizens do not require a visa to visit Nepal. However, they are required to carry documents such as a valid passports or photo identity cards issued by the government of India or any state government or union territory, and identity cards issued by the election commission of India, emergency certificate issued by the embassy of India and Kathmandu to Indian nationals in case of emergency. Please note that Nepal Immigration has not authorized a valid identity for Ration Card or Driving License or School/College ID card.
