Do we test our potential president's mental health and why not?

Question

First of all, I don't feel Bush would have had a chance if we did which motivated this question. Companies I work for will have such tests so if those of us with civilian jobs are required to undergo such testing, wouldn't it make sense that our potential Presidents of the U.S. have to undergo such tests?

After what they go through in the primary season and then in the general election, the h**l they take to run, the stuff they, their family and their friends go through, I think they must be crazy just to run.  But with all the exposure they get, you'd know if they had a s***w loose.  With Bush it just didn't matter.  But Nixon was crazier than W ever thought of being.
