I was talking to my 2 yrs old niece and I told her to remember where she had put her teddy, and she held open palm to her chest( just slightly above her tummy to the left) and then and after about 10 seconds she remembered where she had put her teddy. She said she could feel the direction in her chest.Personally, if I have to remember or think, I see it all in my head. Is she right?

  2. Your heart is solely built to pump your blood. it has no intelligence. The heart accepts input from the brain, and carries out what it is told to do.

Your brain accepts input from the rest of the nervous system, stores and processes the input, and gives output as needed. Therefore you think with your brain.

  3. We think in conjunction of both heart and brain. One always needs the other. Always.

  4. our brains do the thinking our hearts put blood through our bodies but some people do weird things to remember stuff

  5. That's sweet.  We use our brains but it is divided into sections for analytical and logical as well as sensitivity.  Therefore the left and right hemisphere's.   Sometimes our heart hurts when we are sad.  This is the extra blood being pumped because of our anxieties.  If you want to know if you are left or right brained more there is a really simple test.  Palms facing together, interlace your fingers.  Where do the thumbs cross over.  Left on right?  Right on Left?  or both straight ahead?  If it's the first, you are right brained, analytical, mathematical.  If it's the second, you are left brained or liberal art type of person, artistic, poetic.  If it's straight ahead, you are whole brained.  Good for you.  Your two year old niece is probably left brained and crosses her right over her left.  She's a girl.  She's young and innocent.

  6. One is right-brain thinking, the other is left-brain thinking.  It's a sad reality of modern times that most adults, particularly in the West, and even more particularly in America, are cut off from their right-brain minds, which are connected to their hearts, their emotions, their bodies, and think almost exclusively with their left-brain minds.  The two parts of the mind are meant to work together as a unity, instead of being split apart and working against each other.

  7. to me,thinking with your heart is an expression. cognitve thought process comes from the brain (temporal lobe). but we should ( not all people do) is use our hearts as a moral compass or guideline to accompany what our brain is telling us.

  8. Neither.  Men only think with their penises and women simply don't think at all.

  9. Are you kidding?

  10. I think with my foot.
