Do we watch a TV show, or adds - sometimes 6 or 7 adds in a break, and none is the truth?

Jan, if you watch a show like Egoli and it runs for 30 minutes, the actual show is short because of all the advertishments, and sometimes the final add has little resemblence to the product

I know what you are getting at. Basically we are paying exorbitant prices for digital satellite tv just to watch ads. Whether the ads are relevant to the product or not, that's irrelevant.

Ad breaks used to be about two minutes long with four 30 second ads. The other day timed an ad break of just over 5 minutes! It just irritates the S**t out of me.

Yes. I totally agree and it can be one of the most frustrating things.

If somebody would just tel the Ad guys they're wasting their money big-time on me... I do not even look at the ads and definitely do not buy something because it was advertised on TV.

Maybe it's just like anything else: Everybody is just interested in making his couple of bucks, and nobody gives a d**n about quality of service. Isn't that the story of our lives.

PS. Don't worry, it's like that in most countries
