  1. I've had most luck with white bass when the suns disappearing over the horizon and all the way until it's too dark to see what the h**l you're doing.  In the morning I've never had much luck, but this is usually because I haven't found that sweet spot yet, where all the bass are hiding.  I like to troll a medium spoon shad, and while popping different spots with a popper with my other pole.  This helps me find those sweet spots.

  2. I always wait until dark and shine a really bright light into the water. Then I cast far into the dark water and reel in toward the lighted water. You have to reel fast though or they won't think it's real.

  3. As far as Yellow perch go, you can do good most anytime. I have fish especialy for them for over 60 years and find that mid day is as good as anytime. Sometime late and early are not the best for Yellow perch. I have not got a clue on the White bass as we do not have any here in Montana that I have heard of. Good luck

  4. White bass bite a lot better when the sun is going down or when its completely dark. but if you fish when its dark, make sure you shine a very bright light in the area you will be fishing. The bright light will make it easier for you to see and it will attract the fish in that area. if you use some thing like a spinner bait or something that will make some noise you will surely catch them. As for perch, try fishing for them around 4 or 5. Perch can be caught anytime of the day but thats the time when i had most luck.
