Do white europeans look different from europeans?

when I went to europe I could tell that the white europeans looked physically different from the whites in america, I couldnt tell what was different, but they just looked different, have you noticed this too, or is it just my imaginiation

  1. they were probably skinnier. That could change according to the fact Mc Donald is becoming popular in europe. Not sure they make a good deal


  2. Many Americans from European ancestry come from the northern part of Europe so tend to look northern Europeans. Big boned, light hair, light skin and on the tall side. As well, hair cut and clothing, behavior,  and even the way one walks and moves changes from country to country, and the food one eats as a child influence growth and look. With some friends "guess where the tourist comes from" is one of our favorite games when going in touristy areas and I agree, Americans from European ancestry do look different from many Europeans.

  4. It's normal, it's genetic. Americans usually have kids with americans. Same for frenches, spanishes, etc.So there are some little physical differences.
