Do white leather couches get dirty easily?

My fams is thinking of buying white leather couches, but will they get dirty!

If you hav had experience with white leather couches what happened with you

Yes they do, even though they are leather dirt from little kids, dust and just the wearing down over time makes it dirty. Get a brown or black leather couch, that makes the dirtiness less visible.

Yes they do get dirty very easily.  Also, often when someone sits on them wearing denim jeans the blue dye will transfer to the leather and it is impossible to remove.

it's like everything else ,you need to care for it , no food, drinks , pets , kids climbing, dirty and greasy pants from work.

If you can avoid all of these a white couch is beautiful , you can always wipe off the odd stain with a damp cloth and once in a while apply some special  leather conditioner on it , I know that the next one that I will get will be leather , it's cleaner and doesn't collect dust as a fabric one does.

A properly maintained leather couch will be fine unless you spill something on it that will leave stains.  With that being said, stains on white leather are very unappealing to the eye and can be seen very easy.  If your family keeps a well maintained house I don't see why you shouldn't buy white leather.

Yes they get incredibly dirty - also colours from clothing can bleed such as denim, which can ruin the sofa.

I have pale tan leather couches with 2 kids.  Have had them since the kids were about 3 and 8.  Yes, the leather does soil. But it cleans fairly easily with leather cleaner, although I have used a soft brush at times to take off stubborn spots.  We clean them weekly, just like dusting.  I think they are great.  They stain much less than cloth sofas would.
