Although they wear off in about a month.

Yes! Whitening strips really work.  Some of the brands take longer to whiten than others, but nearly all of them actually take the stains out of your teeth.  It thins the enamel a little bit, so your teeth might be a little sensitive right afterwards, but your teeth are back to normal within a day.
