Do wiry glasses frames stay in shape?

I'm thinking about getting some wiry glasses frames. I kinda like how some of 'em cling to your face. More natural. I'm just a little cncerned that they might go crooked on me (you know, get SLIGHTLY bent out of shape) thus casing me to not look through the lens properly. I'm concerned about that cuz glasses tend to give me eye srain easily. Anyway, I'm just asking cuz I've never had wiry glasses before. Perhaps they're even better as far as sitting on your face properly becase of that clinging.

  1. Either type of frame will come out if adjustment under the right circumstances. Plastic frames take a little more time to find the right fit on your bridge, where metal frames have adjustable nose pads that make it more of a custom fit for your nose. If you get a good quality metal frame with spring hinges, they should hold up fine for you.

  2. Yeah, I had the wire glasses, and they were wayyy better then the plastic ones I got after that. My plastic ones got bent, and my wire ones stayed for 3 years!
