Do woman of Spokane feel safe to walk alone at night, or do you have to keep alert in your surroundings

In the past few days two of my friends on seperate dates have been mugged and beaten, so im reminding all to really pay attentom to your surroundings,

Spokane is strange.  

I've only been here for three years, and I've never felt safe.

It's silly that you can't even take a walk in your own neighborhood.

We should always stay alert, no matter where we live.  Even if we live in the country, rather than the city.
