Believe it or not, the 40's are better than 20's in almost every way - especially where s*x is concerned.  Don't feel sorry for us "old" women.  We feel sorry for you!

Of course. Just as much as ever but much more adventurous. Been there, done it, got the t shirt. The hang ups of the twenties and thirties have gone out the window and now is the time to really get into things.

I always thought i knew it all in those days, now i know that i do.

I would LOVE to go back to my twenties with the mind i have now.

Yes, they are still sexually active but not as much as they were when they were younger.

I'd have s*x with a 40+ yr old women, and maybe a 50+ yr old woman if she had looked after herself!

And to answer your question, yes they still have sexual urges and desires!

The short answer is yes, but a woman in her 40s or 50s may be in a relationship that she finds sexually boring (e.g. after 10 years of marriage and 2 kids) so may not be that interested anymore, especially with her partner. At about 50 they start menopause and this can mess things up due to estrogen going out the window, although HRT can help here.

Young people often find the idea of older people being interested in s*x as a bit horrible, especially their parents having s*x. There isn't a good reason for this, except general squemishness.

I am 57, and even women my age are still interested in s*x. Maybe they only want to make love twice a month, but they are still interested. The exception to this is people with cardiovascular disease, people who suffer from diabetes or who are crippled with arthritis, and so forth. And of course a small percentage of the population is asexual - they aren't interested in s*x at all and never were.
