  1. You do NOT always ovulate on the same day of your cycle. You may have two cycles in which you ovulated on the same day, but next one my be diffrent.  It really depends on your body, even if you have regular periods.  Ovulation may be delayd even by stress, or hormonal changes..

    Good Luck!

  2. I believe ovulation typically occurs every 28 days.  Being most months have 30 or 31 days, the answer is no, not typically.

  3. No.  Not too many women ovulate on the same day each cycle.  Those who do are lucky:)  I have been charting my BBT and various other fertility signs since my first (and so far only) pregnancy which has been quite some time now.  I have ovulated on cycle day 15, 17, 33, and the list of numbers and figures go on in a wide variety...  My luteal phase has, however, always stayed constant.  So in short, your luteal phase should stay the same, while your follicular phase CAN vary greatly.  The only way to know for sure is as said above, take OPKs, check for many fertility signs including but by no means limited to: Cervix position, Cervical fluids, ovulation pains, ovulation spotting, sexual drive, skin condition and temperature dips.  Hope this answers your question.

  4. Hi Amber,

Absolutely not is the short answer.

There are many a women's chart that can clearly show that ovulation will not always occur at the same time every month. One month you might ovulate 13 days from the beginning of your period and another month you might ovulate on the 16th day.

If there is one thing a great number of women do wrong who are trying to get pregnant or not get pregnant for that matter, it is this; thinking they know when they ovulate. So invest in some cheap Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPK). Test as per the (OPK) instructions and test twice a day as you get nearer to your most likely time of ovulation. You need to do this every month as, to answer your question again,  you will not always ovulate on the same day in your cycle each month.

    I hope this is helpful.

  5. yes

the length of your luteal phase is the same each month (normally you ovulate 14 days before your next period)

the long medical explanation is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menstrual_c...

The length of the follicular phase — and consequently the length of the menstrual cycle — may vary widely. The luteal phase, however, almost always takes the same number of days for each woman: Some women have a luteal phase of 10 days, others 16 days, while the average is 14 days

just to be clear the above poster is correct, you wont always ovulate on the same ady (ie the 1st of the month)

you will always ovulate on the same time of your cycle
