  1. SOMETIMES

  2. I grow my hair out because I'm too busy to go in for a hair cut.  I don't like long hair, especially since my hair is rather think.  A few months ago I got tired of my long hair and cut off about 6 inches.  My bf told me he prefers long hair.  I gave him a "No, you just didn't go there" look and told him I prefer hair (He's balding and so he shaves his head).  He promised he will never again make a comment about my hair.

  3. Yes....the majority of the men I have dated prefer longer hair!

Some of them do tend to beg to let your hair grow and some will even tell you not to cut your hair as though they are in charge of what you do.....lol....!

I prefer my hair shorter...it is very straight and fine, it won't hold a curl and usually slides out of a pony tail...irritating for when you want to get 'decked out'!

Sometimes I get in the mood for a change and will let my hair grow a bit or I get tired of it and cut it back to just above the shoulders...whatever my mood is really...lol! But NO, I do not let guys tell me what to do with my hair...they wouldn't do the same for us (in my experience)! Besides, there is more to us than just our looks! If a guy says differentlly then I say they should listen to our suggestions about their appearance as well (and they usually don't)....If it was actually a good relationship where the guy would listen to my suggestions then maybe I would be more likely to listen to theirs...until then, I do as I please with my hair! ;)

  4. Not in my case. I just look ridiculous in short hair.

  5. As a guy I can say that women look far more attractive with long hair. In fact the longer and more voluminous, the better.

Only a very few women - those with exceptional looks or just the right facial shape - look reasonably good with short hair, but none will ever look astounding.

Oh, and while we're at it, metal piercings anywhere on the head make the appearance look worse, not better.

[Update for Cori] If it takes 45 minutes to get ready, then start getting ready 45 minutes before it's time to leave !

[Update for asker] OK, I will go as far as saying piercings anywhere on the body are horrible. Men like their women with soft squishy bits, not punctuated with bits of metal.

  6. There's too much variability to offer an definitive answer.  Some women choose to let their hair grow out simply for a greater sense of "self-esteem" or sense of attractiveness whilst others do this for the sake of attracting men.

Personally, I prefer women with longer and silkier hair, but this is simply a statement of personal opinion and not necessarily a reflection of how other men feel.

  7. I have found that men love long hair but hate waiting for their women while they get ready. The longer the hair the more maintance it takes. I'm sorry but with short hair you can be ready a heck of a lot quicker. You don't have as much hair to blow dry, curl, straighten, ect. So I don't think that guys know what they want- a girl who can be ready in 15 minutes- or a long haired beauty who took 45 minutes to get ready?

  8. I grow out my hair and then I chop it off; I also dye it whenever I am bored.  My husband loves it long so sometimes he is happy but he never cares when I chop it off because it will grow back.  As for my belly I pierced it but no one really sees it but my husband and me.  I did it years ago for myself.  I also have tattoo's and six piercings in my ears.

  9. actually, past boyfriends and guy friends have told me that they think i look better with short hair. maybe i'm just one of those weird exceptions. to be honest, though, i think a lot of people underestimate how much fun and how pretty you can look with short hair. i certainly love mine and wouldn't have it any other way! :)

  10. I like my long hair because it makes me feel more feminine and it's more flattering to my hair texture and face shape.

  11. Do men really keep their hair short for women?

As I see it, both sexes desire different things from the opposite gender.

  12. I grew my hair out because my short cut was getting boring. I have gotten a little more attention from guys since, but that doesn't matter.

  13. Mmm Im just thinking here ... isnt it hard to get longer hair to stand up without static elastic trickery?

  14. I have hair down to the middle of my back.  I do it because I like long hair.  I find that it is the easiest to work with.  I don't have to style it.  I just wash it and put it up in a bun, and it dries with curl.  So, it has nothing to do with men.

I pierced my belly button for me, because it was a celebration of having a flat stomach, and it encourages me to do exercises to keep it flat.

  15. I guess some of you men who love long hair on women also like getting hair in your food or having it clog up your drains. Those are the reasons I don't like long hair. All hair sheds and it's much more noticeable and disgusting when it's long.

  16. Right now I keep my hair long because I like how it looks.  For me, it's no statement, or part of my identity (I have a friend who would die it her hair was cut any shorter, she won't even trim it).    I just like how it looks, it's fun to do styles.  I think in a few years I might try it short, like really short, but I'm not sure it would be flattering for me.  People tell me they like my long, and say it's slimming -- so I keep it. I like it.  It's fun.

  17. I've never cut my hair, it's been growing for a little over 20 years. I didn't want to cut it since I was young, I liked long hair as a little girl. I thought it was pretty.

It's almost touching the floor and for that reason I wear it tied up a lot. When I wear it down people stare a lot but most of the time when it's up people have no idea.

It doesn't really stand for anything, although if I did get it cut I would be rather upset.

  18. I usually keep my hair long, but I had it cut about 7 mos. ago.  Before then  my hair length was at mid back, occasionally longer, but never shorter.  I enjoyed the variation of styles I could do with my hair.  Add to that the fact that my husband used to say that he loved the way it felt when it brushed against his skin, he found it very alluring.

    I miss my hair. lol
