Do women wear bras in Olympic Sports?

I'm serious about my question. There are some very visible observations between events and countries, and I'm wondering if there is an advantage with or without. Or does it all come down to a personal preference?

  1. There's a handy invention called the sports bra.

    Look into it.

  2. no, they are totally banned.

They are like, a performance enhancing product.

    Artificial assitance.

    DEFINATELY NOT ALLOWED!!!!!!!

  3. i dont know, but that US girl who fell off, and almost cried on that balance thing is HOT. well, by their standards :D

  4. To be quite honest, I've never noticed any differences. But I would think that their outfits would be so tight it wouldn't even be required. The outfits probably have built in pads or something (even though they may not be necessary - ie, as for the gymnasts)

  5. dude this question made me chuckle and to tell you the truth I have not noticed a non wearing bra (ed) athlete, goes to show I actually do watch the sport and not the person.....

The jumping sports would have to be good supporting bras and the non jumping personal preference.

fyi it does hurt when jumping with no support feels like theyre dropping off........

  6. I would imagine so, for some sports. The bouncing that goes on is really not pleasant. For swimming, though, it's obviously not an issue.

  7. I would assume it is a personal preference but there are specific sports bras available that are made of breathable fabric and they also have added support for when you are jumping around alot. Elite sports women do seem to have more muscle in that area and possibly do not all require the aid of a bra! Berli make a great sports bra by the way.

  8. It depends on the event and the athlete. Most of the athletes wear sports bra.

  9. If your China you don't have to worry about it their 12

  10. Personal preference, but you almost HAVE to wear a bra to not get smacked in the face.
