Do women wear slips under skirts or dresses anymore? ?

I can't find any decent ones that don't look like something out of the 60's. If not slips, what do you wear under a dress/skirt that is somewhat see-through?

I wear slips under everything, but I'm very unusual in that respect.  Most of my dresses and skirts have linings built-in to avoid the need for a slip.  I don't care for the linings - I have them removed so I can wear slips without being too warm.  To me, a slip is, or should be a pretty piece of lingerie that I can enjoy wearing as much as my laciest bra and panties!  You can still buy very high-quality and pretty slips at herroom.com if that is your preference.  If you are like most people, however, you won't care about wearing a slip and you can probably get away with the lining installed in your dress by the manufacturer.

uumm..i have this really stupid annoying friend who does and shes like 14, which is weird. because of her im never going to wear slips. theyre weird:)

Sure, lots of outfits practically require a slip if you don't want to show everything.  Try the better women's clothes stores in your area.  If you don't see what you need, ask.

usually the seethrough ones actually have aslip or lining built right into them! thats quite strange that youre still finding ones that dont...for slips i would just hit the lingerie sections in the department stores. but as long as the skirt covers the slip it should matter what uit really looks like right? no one will see it!

go to walmart. vassarette makes great slips with removable straps
