  1. They are about half and half now.

  2. Most want to return back to Japan.

  3. I think many Japanese women from Japan to USA to study won't go back because the experience and knowledge are often rather effective  and profitable in USA there.

In addition most of those Japanese women have come to be very Americanized to love Americans easily better than Japanese in Japan.

They may also even consider to marry American to acquire GC or permanent visa for happier life in future as same foreign women in USA.

  4. Most of them want to go back because in the U.S. they get the Asian stereotype treatment(Asian callings, you all look alike, and many more). I keep telling everyone this and I get no response because they know it happens in the U.S. a lot. I'm not saying your like this but those who are ruin it for others that respect the Asian community. That's not the only reason though. Here in Japan our economy is just as good as the U.S. economy so we have no reason really to live in another country.

  5. I heard there are lots of Japanese women who intended to go back to Japan, but they met "Mr. Right" in the States, so they decided to stay htere...

  6. USA is not as good as Americans think.  I been there and seems like disparity is like a h**l in the USA.

I suppose there are only few Japanese girls who want to stay in the USA, but not for permanent stay, just for few years of career in different country.

I would like to stay in the USA, only if I can have a house in NYC, big apple, but not in other area. I do not like security problems that exist everywhere in the USA. also I do not like inconvenience of the USA and low-developed food culture. also guns.

But there are few Japanese international students, who marry to Americna man. and stay there permanently.

  7. It depends.  A lot of women come to U.S. to study to obtain higher education in order to get a better position in Japanese society.  If that's the only reason they came to U.S., then they will go back to Japan eventually.  Some of them might meet someone and get married to stay permanently.

  8. It all depends.

Some of us are here to just study but others of course want to stay here in the states permanently. However, it's very difficult for us to stay in the states permanently because it's hard for us to get a green card unless we are married to an American guy.

My friend was one of them. She came to the states and attended a high school and then she went to a university and she was a honor student. After she graduated from a university, she got a job. Her employer promised her that he would get her an H-1b visa after her work permit was expired. However, her employer broke the promise and she needed to go back to Japan a year later....

This is very typical when foreigners get a job in the states. After we graduate from a university, the employers lies to us and they allow us to work for them just for the limited amount of time. And then when the time comes, they will fire us.

But typically it's usually hard for us to get a job in the states because student's visa is not a green card. The jobs are limited and many companies don't want to support us. That is why, if we can't find a job, we have no choice but go back to our country. So it's not easy for us to stay here permanently unless we find some American guy who wants to marry us.
