Do women who wait for a perfect love spend most of their lives waiting?

Question

I know a few women who hold out for perfection in a man (perfect school, job, looks, location, etc..) and besides the random sexual tryst with a virtual stranger, they're almost always single.

Can anyone explain this phenomenon to me?

I understand dating someone with whom you get along with, but why search for perfect superficial things when you can meet a great person wherever you are?

Do people who look for perfection doing so as a way to guard themselves from intimacy?

I think that depends on their version of perfect.  Some women are overly demanding and yes, they will be waiting a long time, maybe forever.  Or they will meet some poor guy and try to change him and that will be miserable for both of them.  Or they will settle, also a miserable way to go.  The perfect man (or woman) is the person who is perfect FOR YOU.  I waited for mine; it took a bit, but it was worth it.

I'm not saying for u 2 date this person & that person, but don't rush in2 things, and take it slow, don't get in to deep, and try to really study the ppl u go out with, learn more about their backgrounds, or ? does the future holds for them, what are they looking for in a relationship. play ur cards right, and try not to rush into things. It'll all fall into place, and it will be worth it. Good Luck

i think that they are really waiting for a guy who is perfect for them but not necessarily perfect in every way because let's face it none of us are perfect we all have faults.
