Do wooden arrows fly?

Like a wooden arrow 4 hunting not a wooden bow. a wooden arrow. I really need 2 know.

No! They are propelled through the air by the bow being drawn and released.

Ofcourse they fly. Modern bows will shoot better with carbon or aluminum arrows but the original arrows were all made of wood!

Fly? Sure do.  But 'fly straight' is another matter.

Wooden arrows are hard to straighten, and don't

always hold straightness well.

'Traditional' archers accept this as part of the game,

but if you intend to hunt, you might not want to handicap  

yourself so much.

Sure- they were the first arrows made- they still are made by some manufacturers- most traditional hunters ( long bow and recurve bows ) still use them!

NOPE! The best use for 'em is to pound 'em into the ground and use them as tent pegs...
