Well after beatin the Aussies, Yes! Dya think we could could win? Even go all the way... I thought we were off home after the pool game with South Africa, but after Tonga and Australia things are lookin better!

Two reasons why

1. The French have a record of playing awful after upsetting world cup favourites. They beat pre tournament favourite Australia in 1987 only to get slaughtered the next week. They beat pre tournament favourite New Zealand in 1999 only to be slaughtered the next week. In 2007 they have beaten pre tournament favourite New Zealand. Will history repeat? The French certainly seemed to think so last week so why not this week. Why not their history of choking after big upsets coming back to haunt them.

2. The English rule the Frogs like no other in knockout games. They have met twice in knockout games of the World Cup and England has been victorious both time.

In 1991 the English trounced the French 19-10 in Paris

In 2003 the English slaughtered the French 24-7 in Aussie

France did win in 1995 but that was a 3rd/4th play off game and most players cant be bothered raising an effort in this. They choke when it counts against England.

all the surprises are finished now... it gets down to penalties and drop goals and England have a good kicker in Johnny but they need to get in the habit of scoring tries!

So happy the All Black glamour boys were sent packing, seriously overrated. How many times did the cameras catch Daniel Carter looking at himself on the big screens inside the grounds during a game. Not to watch a replay but just to see how he was looking. He even tried twsiting his head as if to look away, but his eyes kept checking the big screen to see if he is still up there, yes we saw you poser! Yes He is a fantastic player but more ticker and less modesty and you'll do better!

France has done it's homework and so have we, it will be close.

England will win but only by about 2 points.
