not poltics of the US, but the overall country.

IS there anyplace you'd want to travel... do you even want to come here at all? Which places have you heard the most about, and what would you want to do when you got here, if you wanted to come here. Im curious. Im a Californian and really i've lived here my whole life although i meet people occasionally who ask me numerous questions about living in California.

So... do you guys like the USA?

  1. I think the person right above me is correct. I am neither British nor American, but have come in contact with both groups of people on a personal level and it really seems to me that British are a lot more hostile towards Americans than vice versa. I also believe this has to do with losing the empire, and the fact that American culture is the most copied in the world, not British. And American English too is also the most understood and studied world wide, so you can imagine the disdain, resentment, and miserable emotions that come along with that hard fact. I  live in Europe and can say that we are more annoyed with the urinating and drunken Brits than the Americans.

  2. I wouldn't like to come to America. I dislike the things it stands for. I mean this not a a jibe to your country, I am simply answering your question. George Bush is just a moron, and doesn't seem to have a clue sometimes, and America seems to think it is the World Police. That if there is a dispute it is their responsibilty to sort it out. I don't mind the people mostly, apart from the arrogant few (but then again, arrogant people aren't best liked) and the ones who say "Talk British to me/my kids/my dog" and things.

EDIT: Sorry, after all that I realise I didn't read the first part of your question. >.<

I like California and Illinios a bit, but I wouldn't visit New York, too busy!

  3. ello love, well we like 10 percent of your bloody country I suppose.  the midwest and the south are a bore. NYC, SF, LA, CHI, SEATTLE...FUN FUN FUN!  cheers.

  4. I'm from Britain and the people are generally jealous of Americans (stems from "over paid, over sexed, and over here" during WWII) because they cannot get over losing their Empire.

They often criticise Americans quite vitriolically a bit like a neurotic insecure woman will nag her partner. it's quite funny sometimes to see them foaming at the mouths whenever Americans or WWII are brought up, a bit like a child who is made to stand in the corner and wants attention.

Even funnier is while they are constantly lampooning Americans they can't get enough of American products, movies and vacations in FL, NY & CA.

They rant about Americans while secretly wanting to emulate them.

  5. No, Not most of them. America and American's seem better them everyone else. It's c**p. They have NO CLUE.

    Go Brit!!!
