Do you/Did you put toys on your baby registry??? Or should I just stick to the essentials???

I figured if she doesn't get any toys before she's born... Christmas she'll get some.

Maybe 1-2 that you really really want, but I'd make sure you get what you need most first, if you collect enough stuff that you really need at the baby shower then that frees your pocket to buy the extras!!!

Stick to the essentials.  Trust me, you'll get more toys than you know what to do with as soon as you hit a holiday like Christmas.  Besides, you tend to get a lot of toys and clothes as gifts after the baby is born.

I would put an activity mat or something along those lines- but that's it. There's little that your baby will be interested in for the first several months, but you will definitely need those essentials right away. You can never have too many diapers!

I only put the essentials on my registery but when you baby is little and at around 2mo they love things that light up and sing. I wish someone would have gotten me those things. Like the ones they lay under and they dance and play music and sing. My 2 mo old loves it and it keeps her entertained for about 6-10 at a time which is nice when you need to clean or eat or something. My friend had given me one to use but you need them.

i put a few toys on mine. If you see some that you really like put them on there because they may not be there when you go to buy them. People will make sure that you have everything that you need off of it before they buy the toys. Good luck and congrats.

stick to the essentials.....because before you know it your baby will have so many noise making toys they'll run you crazy!

i put toys on mine, but most people just got me the essentials... which in the long run turned out great, because my daughter wasn't even interested in toys until she was about 6 months old, and by then i'd had time to buy some. Plus, we've spent so much money buying toys for her when all she really wants to play with are the boxes they come in!!
