  1. AM A  CELL SHOP OWNER

    FIRST LET IT DIE, THEN

CHARGE FOR 9 HOURS IF 1ST TIME(TURNING OFF)

  2. You don't HAVE to, but you don't have to drain it first either.  I'd charge it just so I'd have the full charge to work with rather than some unknown charge and I didn't know how long it would last.

From the web site below:   There is only one way to charge lithium-based batteries. The so-called 'miracle chargers', which claim to restore and prolong batteries, do not exist for lithium chemistries. Neither does super-fast charging apply. Manufacturers of lithium-ion cells have very strict guidelines in charge procedures and the pack should be charged as per the manufacturers "typical" charge technique.

Lithium-ion is a very clean system and does not need priming as nickel-based batteries do. The 1st charge is no different to the 5th or the 50th charge. Stickers instructing to charge the battery for 8 hours or more for the first time may be a leftover from the nickel battery days.

  3. You're supposed to let it charge first, but if you plug it in then turn it on immediately, I think you can use it as long as it's plugged in. But if you turn it off leave it off until it's charged fully.

I don't know for sure though so don't get mad at me if your phone is messed up :)

  4. YESSS!!!!!!!!!

All new phones come with a battery about 30% full.

The cell phones have cell batteries.

Cells are like lets say...little gas tanks or gauges that you have to fill all the way to the top in order for them to work properly,if you don't do that first, then you will notice that the battery won't hold as much charge and it is because you didn't streched or filler all the cells in the first place.

Besides is in the istructions to let it charge before use at least for 8 hours, don't you think that those people know what they are talking about???

  5. you need to let it die before you charge it, it will hold a charge better... i didnt do that to mine, and i can talk on it for like 2 hours and its dead... wait until its dead, then charge it fully

  6. no your supposed to let it die before you charge it
