Do you REALLY eat healthy?

Because I always try but its soo hard.... how do you do it....?

  2. I eat very healthy.  But I also don't deny myself anything I may want a bite of.  Just knowing you can have it, sometimes you realize you really don't want it.

  3. yes. but it is ok to have a treat now and then or forget it you will make it hard on your self

    I try, but...wow.  Most days I can't do it.  But here's what helps me do a little better.

    Drink lots of water.  If you don't feel all fat and bloated (which you'll feel if you don't drink the water), you'll probably be less likely to eat unhealthy, and more motivated to either eat nothing (because how often do we eat for the sake of eating) or to eat healthy in order to maintain the "good feeling".

    Exercise.  Again, when you feel more in shape, you'll be more motivated to try harder.

    Have "ready" healthy foods around.  If there's a whole banana, or whole apple, or whatever, I won't eat it, because, honestly, I'm just too lazy to peel it.  But if you chop a bunch of stuff up ahead of time (this works better with veggies, because fruit tends to go brown and gross, but I prefer veggies anyway), then you'll be more likely to munch on them.  Grapes are good for this, too.

    Have healthy foods you like.  Obviously, you'll be more likely to eat them.

    Have unhealthy healthy foods.  LOL.  Here you have to be careful you don't overdo it.  I love that salted nut mix with the Smarties in it, and nuts are relatively healthy (again, you have to be careful).  Or you could get yogurt covered pretzels, dried fruit, whatever.  (A good place for these is the bulk food section of your grocery store, or a health food store).

    Smoothies!  Yummy and fast.  Put juice in instead of milk (watch what kind of juice you get and what is in it).

  5. i think it's hard for everyone.  

    I eat 3 healthy meals and allow myself a few unhealthy snacks in the week (cookies etc) otherwise I would just go and binge on everything out there!

  7. Yeah it is too hard ..... ive been (trying to be) eating healthy for the past 4 years lol, but its just to tempting with all the lovely stuff out there.
