Even though i know Triple H married steph but do u think if shawn michaels had never broke his back he would be on top and triple h carrying his bags cause when DX first started shawn was leader and definitely the better wrestler its like trips was just the guy who got a push off shawn injury....and a very powerful wife>

OPINION:

I think HHH is very talented, and he has earned his right to be a champion. But I don't believe he'd still be a 12 time Champion if Shawn didn't leave in 1998. Maybe a 7 time Champ at best, with the other 5 going to Shawn. HHH definitely has benefited from riding HBK's coat-tail until he left, and then marrying Stephanie.

FACT:

The only reason Shawn isn't winning championships at this point in his career is because he doesn't want to. He has stated many times in interviews since he came back that he's only out there wrestling for his fans and for fun. He said he wants to "take it easy" so he doesn't want the responsibilty of being champion. But the truth is, HBK is such a great performer that he doesn't need to hold the belt to be the star of the show. Now that's the difference between Shawn and HHH.

I always thought HBK was the better wrestler, but he broke his back and Triple H married the boss's daughter. It was bound to happen.

No, I don't think either one would be carrying the bags.  HBK was just more estalblished when DX started.  They are almost equal, with HBK edging HHH out.  Actually, since he gives back much more, Shawn is more than just better.  Still, I think HHH would be just as great, with less title reigns at this point.

Look. When DX started, Shawn was probably in his prime, but now it is Triple H as the better one in the WWE because it is his time to shine. I mean that time when Shawn was the leader of DX, Triple H was only a three- four year pro. Plus in reality(besides the WWE) triple H loved steph and she also loved him and they wanted to get married and well now they're married. And Vince likes triple H more than any other wrestler in the WWE. Even if Shawn didn't broke his back, Triple H would still get a push because evey wrestler has to shine one day.

I agree. And Shawn Michaels was the better wrestler by far. Unfortunately he had to suffer that injury and Hunter had to marry Vince's daughter.

Triple H is a talented competitor, but there is no question that he would not have such a push if he wasn't married to the million dollar princess.
