  1. I don't know that you need to certified to sell anything but you do need to use good grammar.

  2. based upon your status,I believe you should find something useful here.

  3. You need a license to sell it.  If you don't need a license then it isn't insurance.

  4. Yes you do.  In Canada you need you LLQP (Life License Qualification Program), not sure what it is called in the USA.  Every province and state has bylaws as well specific to that location.  Contact your local insurance council where you live to get details on getting licensed (If you're in Canada, email me and I can help you in a little more detail).

As mentioned before, if a person selling insurance doesn't have a license, it's one of 2 things: 1) That person is illegally selling insurance or 2) the product that person is selling is not regulated by the insurance councils of that province/state, which means it's probably a very shady product and there's a good chance it's a scam of some sort.

  5. Yes you do. And you can go online and search for the areas that have the info you would need to find any place local that you can go in and sign up. They also have classes that will teach you the fundamentals and help you earn your license and perhaps even place you with a company or get you started on your own private company. Great Idea..Good Luck.
