also most people with higher than average I Q's have a lot of problems.  why would you ask a question like that ?

First of all one must ask ones self, if, Deafness is a condition which makes a hearing person superior, or does signing cancel the question out. I personally believe that signing should, and must be taught in school. Yes! and in pre-school, and not just as an extra choice in further education.

It's an attitude based on pathological thinking. Which can only produce a negative result. I believe it should be abolished and it is a conscious choice.
