I have learnt that in ancient chinese days, when people were  really poor they could castrate their sons and just hope that the emperor would take them in as one of their 3,000 eunuchs!  Wouldn't that be awful, these are like teenage boys and they are being castrated by their dad on the off-chance of getting a job!  (it was on the history channel)

Yes, I learn daily that humans are more and more corrupt than I thought possible the previous day. Today I've learned that even the closest person in the world to you will happily stab you in the back, destroy your life and disregard their own children's safety for the sake of money and that so called 'people that can help' will actively condone immoral behaviour rather than look at a solution.

yeh usually one or more things a day...today I learned that if there was a pinhead on Earth that was as hot as the centre of the Sun, it would kill everyone within a 90 mile radius....shocking!
