  1. The Ottawa Florida one seems like changing 4 quarters for a dollar.  Does help Ottawa on D but I don't see Spezza going without a goalie coming back.

Malkin to LA makes sense for both teams.  Pitt avoids the Tampa syndrome with all the money tied up in the big 3 or 4 and no supporting cast.  Remember Tampa decided to let the goalie of their big four go and that did not work.

In Camilleri they get a young better than avg player.  That pick is no 2 overall so the get a potential HOF d-man.  Not bad.

    LA gets a superstar.

I doubt the trade will happen but it does make sense.

  2. Well no one knows for sure, I doubt that Malkin will be traded.

  3. I dont think the Pens will trade Malkin.. They are gonna let Malone, Orpik, Laraque, Roberts, and more go.. They will retain, Hossa, Fleury, Malkin and Staal..

The Sens shouldnt trade SPezza but they might..

  4. I heard about Malkin for Cammalleri and that second overall. That's a good deal and it would make sense; bit of a gamble in the short term, though. I haven't heard anything about Spezza and Mezzaros for Jokinen and Bowmeester....got a link?

  5. No they wouldn' t trade Spezza. Not Malkin either because he's a rising star like Sidney Crosby and he will resign with Pens for 4 years or more probably.

  6. No, not sure about Spezza, but Malkin has already stated that he's signing a deal soon after July 1st for 5 or 6 years in Pittsburgh, we're not trading him.
