  1. Yep. So then I turn it into a salad. The bread makes some nice croutons.

    :-)

Also a good reason to do an open-faced sandwich, especially if you want to melt anything on top of it!

  2. Nope.

  3. no i make my sandwiches so i can nite into them.

  4. Not usually but every once in a while I get a hankering.  I'll stop at the bakery and get some bread we haven't tried before, stop at the deli and get a variety of meats and cheeses, hit the produce section and load up on veggies, get a variety of mustards.  Yum!

  5. No, but I bought sandwiches like that, however!

Aw man, I'm SO craving another tuna sandwich, with THREE slices of bread and tuna in between the slices.

I'm talking, adding some Miracle Whip and relish. Someday I'll boil an egg to make tuna salad that way, because my mother did it, and it was faaaaaantastic! I'll always love my mother...

  6. Oh yeah!!!!!!!!!!!! those are the best!!!!!! Two or three kinds of meat, two or three kinds of cheese, lettuce, pickles, cucumber, mayo, mustard, shredded carrots, salad dressings, sometimes leftovers from the fridge. Oh holy smokes I would love one of those RIGHT NOW!!!! I like them so full that you have to get your face down to the plate because the sandwich won't survive the journey up. Oh man I am hungry now.............

  7. No,  I like a sandwich that will fit without making a mess to take a bite.  That's even more important if there are slippery items inside, like slices of tomato that will slide against the lettuce, etc.
