Do you admire this woman, or detest her? <LINK>?

She&#039;s obviously good at what she does, and seems to have a happy life. I&#039;m not really interested in sports but as far as it goes she seems admirable enough.

I admire the fact that she wanted to continue being active while pregnant and she had a doctor monitoring her throughout her pregnancy.  At the same time, I believe she is obsessed with running and she could have had worse things happen to her than injuring her tailbone and foot.  She is lucky to have a healthy child.

Thats great for her! I mean do you know how physically and mentally strong you have to be to complete a marathon in the first place?? but then add a pregnancy on top of all that! I&#039;m a runner and i find her very inspiring. I don&#039;t think i would run a marathon when i was pregnant but if she can do something like that, imagine what i can do :)

and why would anyone have reason to detest her?? its her life, her race and her baby. mind your own business if you have something negative to say.

YUK She&#039;s horrible - she took a dump out in the open in the middle of doing the marathon - how disgusting is that?

I&#039;m surprised she was even able to have a baby, considering how much running she does. Many female athletes stop having their periods and become infertile from overtraining and overuse. I&#039;m all for being physically active but I also think too much of a good thing isn&#039;t so good after all. I hope she doesn&#039;t start developing osteoporosis. I&#039;ve heard of female gymnasts developing it while still in their 20s from their restricted diets and rigorous training schedules.

Indifferent. Slightly admire her but I don&#039;t want to be her, I just think she&#039;s pretty strong to keep running like that! It&#039;s her life,though. And her passion. I wouldn&#039;t give up my passion during pregnancy...
