It is our international military pressence that helps to keep us safe and secure. Bush is not entirely to blame for the war in Iraq (as stated by a previous poster) and I do not believe that our presence there is "terrible" or "unneccessary". If you were to visit other countries and see how their people live, work and raise families I believe you'd have an entirely different view of the qualitity of life here that you so readily take for granted.

well to say the least the work made by men and women that don't have military ideas and such have created a divided country of people trying to find balance after 911 there the people there many have less then 8 grade education are force fed a view a view of theirreligionn that is no only not true but terrible violent and sad. and they leader of this war on terror of the hearts and minds of people are people that hate us but profit on us as well and are so rich the idea of them working for the people is simply sad like bin laden who so rich from business deals with u,s. it sad the only thin g left is too walk away from a situation we made worst only the people there can helpthemselvess and in turn help us you can teach people to have hope intheirr country they have to believee it no gun can do that when they want freedom from these people we can only help them all know we can do is give aid for education and arts so they can see a better world then there own

Sooo you think this President is the sole creator of ALL war in the last oh say last 50 years of nations calling themselves developed? One war in Iraq has not affected the country except those who actual fight in it and their families. There is no draft and no rationing. Nothing like WW2 levels of hardships. So what's your beef? Why aren't you crying for Dafur or Burma?
