Question:

Do you agree? Mom says Sarah Palin is the "cleanup woman" to reform the corrupt congress?

Mom says that about one-third of Medicare, for instance, is overcharges and fraud that the U.S. Congress approves. Our government is a huge wasteful, out-of-touch bunch of crooks, says mom. I believe mom, she knows what is going on.

  1. Listen to your mother, she is absolutely correct.  Our government wastes much more than it spends on successful endeavors.  Palin cleaned house in AK and so there is the possibly she will clean house at the Federal level too.

  2. Trust your Grandma, Medicare is overcharges and fraud, but its not approved by Congress, doctors submit false overcharges, yep your nice family doctor is bilking the government.

    They are the crooks.

Congress does have a hand in the prescription mess, they gave the pharmaceutical companies what they want, even if it leave the elderly taking half pills instead of whole ones to save money.

But what could you expect with a Republican congress devoted to big business at the expense of the little guy?

In the meantime there used to be busses full of oldsters going to Canada where the prescriptions are way cheaper.  Then they clamped down on that saying that Canadian drugs weren't as good as the same ones in the US.  Then it turns out our drugs came from China and were mixed under terrible conditions and with ingredients not safe for human consumption.

We need some clean up in Congress, but another member of the same party that gave you all that and more isn't the answer.

That congress you want to clean up...for seven out the past eight years its been Repubilcan.

  3. Listen to your mom .

    She's one smart lady.

    America could learn from her.

  4. its called political rhetoric (verbal diarrhia). its when they say anything just to get your vote . the Rs are useing the "vote for me because my opponent sucks worse." ploy right now . i refuse to vote the lesser of two evils . the good news is that there are many OTHER parties that the media and big business want you to ignore . why ? because nader or mckinny or paul would actually help the average joe , not the fascist corpoations .

  5. Hey there Mr. What: Maybe you should understand that the sentence you used in a previous question regarding Jews and Evangelicals is ridiculous- "A mind in a terrible thing to waste" is a grammatically skewed statement!  Google it for some much needed education. Work on it!  LOL!

But thanks for the 10 points, you're a sweetie!

  6. Your mother is right about the waste in Washington but she's wrong about Palin.

Palin, though OK as governor of Alaska, knows NOTHING about Washington politics.

In an interview, she didn't even know what the Vice President does.

She only knows what is good for Alaska, not the whole country.

Palin is a HORRIBLE choice. McCain is irresponsible for picking her.

No offense, but your mom likes Palin only because she's a woman.

  7. If she is, then that would almost justify voting for McCain and his 100-year war.

There are doctors who milk medicare for all the money they can for useless work.

  8. I have spent much of the last 24 hours doing research on Govenor Palin and have found very little that can or will discredit her. She took on the Alaskan GOP and beat them. She cleaned up nearly all the corruption in Alaska. She saved the farmer's creamery counsel. She is for the little man in all issues. I am only waiting for her first speach  detailing what she plans to attempt to do as VP to make my final assessment, but it looks like I may be voting my first straight down the line ticket this year. I have no party affilliations, have never voted a straight ticket and hate most politicians because all most of them want is more money from our pockets. I have known several personally, including Truman and I once told him to his face that he was a crook just like them all. And he was one of our best!

So far I'm with Palin, 100%.
