I believe the majority of successfull individuals made a decision to be successfull therefore making it a choice. We all know success is hard work and dedication to your craft,work,talent,etc and with hard work comes success, very few people arrive at success by chance. That's just what I believe.

Yes and No! In most cases it is a combination of both. Have you seen the citibank ad - perform^succeed? Success is basically a result of your efforts, hard work, determination and last but not the least, confidence. But only hard work will not bring success. A hard working clerk may continue to be a clerk till his term.ends. Imagination, willingness to take risks (e.g.Ambanis, Lakshmi Mittal) and above all confidence are essential ingredients of success. And of course, luck (you may call it "chance") also plays a definite part!

Firstly, i think it is very important to know ur definition of success.. then only u can comment further on it..

For me success is becoming better than my former self... in this process i will keep imrpoving and make myslef do well wherever i am... so for sure... success is for me by choice and hard work...

YES, in correct sence, it comes by choice..n not by chance.

          .....some may get it by chance..., but the problem is it wont last forever.

   And ppl who achive it by Choice.... n even at some point of life they happen to loose it..., they can have it back again..., it only comes by Choice...n not by Chance!

Every good choice is based on choosing what is most probable and the probability is in the realm of chance. It is very rare, only a exception and not a rule, that the improbable choice has materialised. Hence, choice and chance are not antagonistic but complementary, both are present in any success.
