  1. I see your point and agree if that is how his competitive edge is but I think the haughty attitude of Nadal is very unsportsmanlike!

  2. Probably.  Sampras lost in 96' after winning 3 straight.  Then won 4 straight again from 97-00.  Federer could do the same, we'll see :)

  3. yeah it could motivate him

  4. That's a really good point. I mean, look what happened to Pete Sampras. I think he's been off since he had mono, so he'll be even better than this year.

  5. Yes. He did make Rafa work extra hard for that title. and I think next year he will just play for himself and not have to worry about tying this record and blah blah blah. and he won't be defending the title. He will have the trophy. don't worry.

  6. Who ever said Nadal is unsportsmanlike is soooo wrong! He was continuously praising Federer even after beating him, his whole speech was mostly about Federer. Federer mostly blamed the lost on chances he thought he should have had.Tell me, how is that unsportsmanlike?!?!?

  7. It won't be a fresh start. It's horrible that he can't continue his record any longer. It will be almost impossible to get to that point again. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for Rafael but I can't imagine how devestating this is to Roger.

  8. im really happy that he lost

  9. i guess, but he was crying i felt bad for him!

  10. I'm glad he lost... looks like he needs to improve on his attitude...
