  1. yes he should be sued.   Global warming has been proven wrong.  look at this year it is 0.03 degrees cooler then previous years.  al gore's claim was because it was 0.01 degrees warmer which i am sure that when measureing in hundreds of degrees a margin of error is at least 1-3 degrees and he was claiming 0.01 and that was why we need to buy stuff from him.  all i can say in manbearpig.

  2. you are hot, man, it must be global warming in action.

  3. No, but I think people should have more sense that to take him seriously.

  4. There is proof that climate change over the past century is greater than in the past, so his claims are true.

  5. No.

Have you stopped beating your wife yet?

  6. EDIT:  no, ken's answer is ABOVE mine!!!  (tired)

i think ken (below) is incorrect.  look at the story behind the idea of suing al gore:

    http://www.businessandmedia.org/articles...

don't you think that weathermen know what is happening with the weather?  or do they make it up?  al gore made many of the ideas that gave him the nobel prize up.  in fact, he outright lied on many key points in his travesty of a documentary that the kids are forced to watch in school called "An Inconvenient Truth," whereas, al gore is the inconvenient and lying, scheming truth of an outright hypocrite, a very smart one.

yes, it is inconvenient to all of us that his lies and skewing of graphs (they can be so deceptive that you had better know what you are looking at) has created an atmosphere of guilt all over the world, even in clean bali!

in addition, although all of us should think about the overconsumption of goods that sends our jobs to china where they burn up a lot of coal and about how we ourselves can live much more cleanly and take much better care of our host planet, he's flying all over the world in his private jets and sitting in meetings that are held in exotic places where he doesn't have to see the mess and squalor that exists in the world today.  he has complicated our life here and his lies will go on for some time.

so he should be sued and his nobel prize should be publicly stripped from him.

lawyers would have a field day with such a suit.  yes, there are lawyers that would definitely take this case, because al gore is even abusive to children for this idea going so crazy that the poor kids feel guilty for having been born, in that they know that what they exhale is CO2!

a courtroom is the PERFECT venue for sworn testimony that proves that al gore has created his own little kingdom and that he is swimming in money in all of his houses all over the world by even paying HIMSELF commissions on his OWN purchases of his OWN carbon credits!!!  you see, by HIM buying carbon credits without the general public knowing that he sits on the company's BD and pays himself commissions when THEY buy the carbon credits that his company sells, he will be proved the hypocritic liar and fraud that he really is.

he should also be indicted under criminal CPS charges of making children fear being alive, for that is a form of abuse.  he should be prosecuted for falsely indoctrinating the public to the point that they can think of nothing other than how their habits of living are going to cause the demise of the entire planet.

and who wrote the story is so right when he says that a court would be the perfect place for disproving al gore's lies:  there are plenty of qualified scientists that literally can show how data has been manipulated to suit his greed.

    i hope they sue him.

  7. It is not illegal to create fiction in this country.  H.G. Wells wasn't sued for "The War of the Worlds".  A public retraction would be enough.

  8. His Nobel Prize should be taken away and given to someone who deserves it.

  9. No, no more then the Swifties lied about Kerry.

I believe Gore about 1 million times more then the Swifties.

  11. Only stupid people will sue people over something so stupid.

  12. He need to go to prison for ripping off million of dollars from the people

  13. yeah

  14. Just to point at laugh at his total failure in politics is enough.  Maybe we could sue the idiots that voted him in.

  15. no...i think he should be publicly executed for it.

  16. YES !!!

  17. LMAO :-)

I've heard of lame and baseless lawsuits, but this idea is in a league of it's own.  No lawyer with a clue would take this on, and any judge in the country would throw it out before it saw the light of day.

  18. Yes. Gore and the UN.

  19. When it warms up again, should we sue you for defamation?

  20. No, because he he isnt for propagating the global warming fraud, as it isn't even a fraud.

    Are you retarded?

  21. no.  Algore isn't alone in perpetrating the hoax.  More people should learn to look objectively at the facts & figure out on their own that Algore is full of s**t.

btw, has the global warming guru given up all his big houses, cars, & private plane?   y'know, like he wants the rest of us to do?  Algore is a typical liberal hypocrite.

  22. Perhaps they should sue the thousands of authors of these 928 scientific papers as well?

    http://norvig.com/oreskes.html

The consensus was quantified in a Science study by Prof. Naomi Oreskes (Dec. 2004) in which she surveyed 928 scientific journal articles that matched the search [global climate change] at the ISI Web of Science. Of these, according to Oreskes, 75% agreed with the consensus view (either implicitly or explicitly), 25% took no stand one way or the other, and none rejected the consensus.

    Then sue these scietific organizations:

NASA’s Goddard Institute of Space Studies (GISS)

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)

    National Academy of Sciences (NAS)

State of the Canadian Cryosphere (SOCC)

    Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

Royal Society of the United Kingdom (RS)

    American Geophysical Union (AGU)

    American Institute of Physics (AIP)

National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR)

    American Meteorological Society (AMS)

Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (CMOS)

    Academia Brasiliera de Ciências (Bazil)

    Royal Society of Canada

    Chinese Academy of Sciences

    Academié des Sciences (France)

Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina (Germany)

    Indian National Science Academy

    Accademia dei Lincei (Italy)

    Science Council of Japan

    Russian Academy of Sciences

    Royal Society (United Kingdom)

National Academy of Sciences (United States of America)

    Australian Academy of Sciences

Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium for Sciences and the Arts

    Caribbean Academy of Sciences

    Indonesian Academy of Sciences

    Royal Irish Academy

    Academy of Sciences Malaysia

Academy Council of the Royal Society of New Zealand

    Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences

Or you could just produce some scientific evidence that uncovered the fraud.  Oh, you can't?  Maybe thousands of scientists aren't part of some hypothetical evil plot, and we really are screwed if we don't act soon.

    The Pentagon sure thinks so:

Pentagon officials warn that abrupt climate change over the next 20 years could throw the world into a state of anarchy -- dwarfing the current threat of terrorism.  In this doomsday scenario, large-scale droughts, famine brought on by food shortages and reduced energy supplies could cause riots around the globe that could culminate in nuclear warfare.

  23. Sure, go ahead. When you get your rear end handed to you in court and lose to his countersuit, you will convince more head-in-the-sand sceptics than he did.

  24. Personally, I don't think this planet is warm enough.  Gore can be a bit annoying, but I wouldn't sue him.  As long as he's just complaining about the weather, I think he's pretty harmless.

  25. If he gets sued than GW Bush gets sued for making up lies about WMD in Iraq.

  26. To top your idea off, read this article from DailyTech in the Science Blog:  "Less than Half of All Published Scientists Endorse Global Warming Theory," noting the word "Theory.":

    http://www.dailytech.com/Survey+Less+Tha...

And if I were you, I would note that Gore is a perfect example of a person that violates the RICO statute, and therefore, a lawsuit is exactly what should ensue:

RICO:  ...He has ...benefited quite well, financially, from his scam.

As for the responders who stated that he has a right to free speech, and its OK to write fiction, the answer to that is:

"Free speech and fiction are one thing, but seeking to tax people and control their lives--as Gore advocates but does not practice--is another."

  27. Yes.

  28. Just because he is right and, like all liberals, is trying to defend America, is no reason for you Republicans to keep lying and smearing him.

    Or maybe it is.

  29. Yes, he should be sued for forcing this myth on our children and trying to affect our lifestyles with made up facts. (While ignoring the actual facts)

What is the perfect temerature for a planet that has been warming and cooling in cycles since it's creation?

  30. I believe that a Congressional hearing is in order.

  31. No, just pitied for being the hypocritical, sappy, con-artist Liberal that he is.
